Bold %26 Beautiful %26 vibrant deep blue. these plates have a rustic, hand-made, artisianal look I love for a quarter of the price of similiar dinnerware I found on Etsy. arrived well packed with no damage. Each piece has it's own unique shape and coloring. they all stack well though, fit in the dishwasher fine, and are heavy and sturdy. In the pictures online, it looks like they have a black rim. They do not! the glaze is more of a navy blue at the outer edges. and then the actual edge is more of a clay beige/not glazed. the vertical marks are raised rather than etched into the pieces. these pieces make any food look vibrant and amazing. the bowls are more the larger pasta bowl size rather than a smaller cereal bowl size. very happy with this puchase. got 3 sets for 12 place settings.

Bowls only hold about 16 oz's and are only about 18 0z's . They scratch very easily. They are pretty but quality isn't that great. I wouldn't recommend them. Not Grandma's dishes anymore the company has gone down hill. I don't expect them to last very long.
