While looking for a cooking kits for my son the one i originally was going to order (have ordered it before for another kiddo) would not arrive on time, so i begrudgingly went for this one. i am so glad i did! it is the best quality (like that you'd expect for adult cooking tools). It feels and performs like very high-end cooking gadgets. Even the veggie peeler, though made with plastic for safety, preforms perfectly. i actually used this kit (with my child of course) to make christmas dinner. and what a joy for him to tell our extended family HE made dinner. the knives actually DO cut (with in reason) and are made well enough they dont break. Our beef roast that night and ham was cut that night with the knives by him! so so would recommend. !!!I ALSO RECOMMEND FOR ANY ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES WHO WANT TO COOK BUT HAVE BARRIORS TO DO SO!!! I used to be an inhome care aid for adults with developmental disabilities and would have loved to have had something like this so they could be more independent!!! this was awesome
