Can you connect a camcorder to it and use for livestream?

We are using it for a single camera setup to lives-stream our church services and it works great. With video switchers all on back-order this is a backup plan, but can be used to get a very good 1080P video

Great item

I'm very happy with this device, so far. This is the fourth capture card I have tried, and it just worked right out of the box. One of the others never worked at all.  Another would allow an audio signal but no video. And third was hit and miss, with it sometimes being recognized and sometimes not. This one was quickly recognized by both of my PC's and has worked every time I have used it, with no issues. The HDMI pass-through works well with no lag, and I have been able to record from multiple sources with OBS Studio, as well as using it with my camcorder and Zoom, Google Hangouts, and Facebook. And it was the cheapest one of all the ones I tried, too, which was really nice.

So Far So Good!

Does it's job. No setup instructions. Just says that you should go to their website. Still, not setup instructions on the site. Just how to use with your streaming app. Had to search youtube to see what the setup is when I was having setup issues. Pretty straight-forward so you should be able to figure it out quickly.
Comes with the main unit, usb cord, and usb-c cord. So, you'll need to have another hdmi cord available.
The performance is spot on and I'm happy with it. It outputs 1920x1080. So, it works for streaming and capturing for broadcast.

Good Middle-of-the-Road Product

Colors are only accurate up to 40hz.  Going any higher than this adds a level of compression that screws up the color accuracy, makes the image more blue, and adds a haze to it, none of which can be corrected by color correction in OBS.  Basically, this is a 1080P 40FPS card if you want your image to look correct.  Something they leave out of the description, but have admitted to me in my contacts with customer support.
