This is the BEST air purifier I have ever purchased. I smoke inside, have 2 Australian Cattle Dogs (doggie door for in/out access), long hair indoor cat and live on 5 fenced acres with ponds. Needless to say, the purifier works overtime with a lot to absorb and I've never shut it off since purchase. I have tried many prior but this one outperforms all others. I don't have a large home but chose the larger square footage one anyway. Even on the high setting it is fairly quiet. Pictures are not the best and purifier light choice is an option - I love it on as a great night light. Highly recommend !!!!!!
