I like this! It's got the ability to cut down time when drying and styling and it actually works! I like the curls I get with this. They don't stay super defined but I also don't leave my hair there forever as the metal heats up quickly and I've noticed the repeat use of the hotter metal can dry my hair a bit but like on damp hair about 25 seconds is good enough. Then I brush out my hair and it gives me blowout waves with not too much volume. The curls last maybe a day and then if you wanted second day hair it's just kinda smooth and straight with a slight wave. It's not bad at all especially for not leaving the curl till it's 100%dry. You definitely can but I feel like it's less damage that way. With some product in your you can even achieve ringlets. It's as easy as using a regular curler just noisier. It's less loud than my hair dyer so I don't mind. I love this for when I want to look polished in a rush
