I gave this to my granddaughter on her first birthday. She did not want to ride the unicorn at first. We let them become friends first. Let her play with his ears. Eventually she decided to ride him and now she loves it. She has a little trouble getting on him with the rocker part attached, Its a tad too high for her, but she lets us know when she wants to get on, and she knows how to climb off. Overall, she loves this and its a nice quality unicorn and I am happy with this purchase.
