I actually bought these gloves to play with my new puppy, who LOVES using her sharp teeth! They're a well-made pair of gloves and fit me perfectly. However, my hand size is probably medium-to-medium/small, so if you have big boxer's hands, these might not fit. My guess is that they're made in China and that's why the hand size runs smaller. All said, I would definitely use these for grilling, except doing so would no doubt introduce a meaty, "flavor" to the gloves. The pup would love that too, but that would introduce another set of problems. They are well-built and I was a bit surprised at the quality of their construction considering the low price. If my puppy happens to trash these I will definitely get another pair.
