We are using this Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier in our son's bedroom. I like it a lot, as it is very quiet; it has a pretty blue nightlight that can be turned on and off. It also looks attractive on his dresser. I used a few drops of eucalyptus oil and added it to the pad it came with, then added it to the drawer. It works wonderfully and fills the space with a pleasant aroma. I used distilled water in it, and it works amazingly. Ever since I started using it, my son does not get sick as easily. The setup was also easy, thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions.

I was surprised to see how small this unit is. I have another 1-gallon humidifier that is about twice the size. The unit was simple to put together. Instructions were very clear and easy to understand. My only complaint is that the top of the unit is angled, so filling it is a bit of a challenge, as it doesn't sit flat. I had to figure out a way to hold onto it with one hand while controlling the water with the other. Certainly not a significant issue. The unit functions great. I added some essential oil to the oil tray and was pleasantly surprised how well it distributed the scent. I liked that there was a night light that could be turned on and off separately from the power to the entire unit, so we could choose to run the humidifier without the light at night. The humidifier itself seems to work really well. I used it during some of the driest days of a Midwest winter and found that it really did make a difference in the humidity of our bedroom, which is fairly large (13x25). The unit makes a soft sound, what I would probably describe as sputtering. It's barely noticeable unless you're standing right next to it. There is a little bit of spray when the unit is running, but nothing outside of a 3 inch radius, so as long as nothing is directly above the unit, it will be fine. I placed a tray underneath my unit to catch any drips/leaks, but found that it wasn't necessary. Overall, I'm very pleased with this and plan to continue to use it daily to keep the humidity in our home.
