A good addition

I bought this replacing an existing battery pack that was damaged during hurricane Helene. I have always used APC products, and I always will. This battery pack adds almost 60 minutes of backup time to my audio cabinet equipment. I highly recommend buying this along with your Back-UPS Pro 1500.

Just hot-plugged it and it works.

I purchased this APC gear after bad experiences with a competitor's (CyberPower) product and service, based on APC's reputation. So far, I'm quite pleased. I like this modular design with an external battery pack. When I plugged it in (without taking the UPS down or missing a beat) it just immediately showed about 3x battery capacity, and has been working fine.

I'm buying this to replace one damaged during hurricane Helene. I've had that one for around 8 years, along with the external battery pack...it works great. This will run my entire entertainment rack for almost 90 minutes. And it kept all of my electronics safe during the electrical issues before the power fully went out during the hurricane.
