DAP Weldwood Contact Cement is a multi-purpose neoprene rubber adhesive that forms instant, high strength bonds on a variety of surfaces. Contact Neoprene Adhesive offers hundreds of uses for the home, office, and workshop. Forms strong bonds on contact to eliminate the need for clamps, temporary fasteners, and long set times. Typical uses include bonding high pressure laminates for counter tops, tabletops, and cabinets. Forms a durable, super-strong bond when parts are assembled and momentary pressure is applied. Interior and exterior use. Weldwood Contact Cement is suitable for interior and exterior use. Selling unit is 3 Oz.

DAP Weldwood Contact Cement delivers a fast, high strength bond for both interior and exterior surfaces, like high pressure laminates, wood and plastic veneers, paneling, and more
Versatile contact cement is suitable for various projects and bonds materials like wood, metal, plastic, fabric, and more with ease
Neoprene formula remains flexible, helping bonds stay strong under stress and movement
Product applies easily, dries quickly to a tack-free finish, and provides a 2 hour open time
Dries rapidly in 20 minutes or less, once cured, the bond resists heat, water, weather, grease, oil, and household chemicals
Contact cement covers approximately 110 square inches per ounce
Excess wet adhesive must be cleaned from surfaces and tools with mineral spirits, after product dries, it must be cut or scraped away

I had a drape/curtain rod that was that was 1.4” inches in diameter and somewhat heavy as a result. This contact cement was the answer to me not wanting to drill holes. The cement worked as promised. Immediately after the required 15 minute wait time (actually I waited :30 minutes), and that rod has been up and holding fine since. I couldn't be happier!
