Every gardener strives for perfectly smooth, uniform soil. After plowing, discing is a great way to break up large clods of soil and achieve plant-ready soil. Brinly’s Sleeve Hitch Disc Harrow breaks up rough, plowed ground effortlessly. Easily customized for different types of discing jobs, the DD-55BH’s working width can be adjusted from 29" to 39", allowing ease of use in smaller or large areas. The 11" diameter 13 gauge steel discs may be adjusted to three different angles: 10°, 15° or 20°. The 15° position is the recommended position for general use, but the 10° and 20° angles are ideal for less aggressive or more aggressive discing. Additionally, weight may be added to the 11 gauge steel tray for breaking up really tough clods of soil. If you’re serious about discing and desire maximum efficiency, two of our disc harrows may be assembled together to form a tandem unit. When properly assembled, the front disc gang throws dirt out while the rear disk gang will throw in. The result is perfectly disced soil.

Get Plant-Ready Soil: 8 heavy-duty steel discs measuring 11" in diameter break up clods and effortlessly turn rough, plowed ground into uniform soil ready for planting.
Fits Various Garden Sizes: Adjustable working width from 29" to 39" accommodates gardens both large and small.
Three Angle Adjustments: Steel discs can be adjusted to deliver the proper force based on size of clods and soil conditions. A 15° angle is recommended for general use, 10° for less aggressive discing, and 20° for more aggressive discing.
Add Weight for Tougher Discing: Extra weight can be added to the tray to break up larger, hard clods of soil.
Sleeve Hitch Required for Use with Your Tractor: Blade easily hooks up to any sleeve hitch. Sleeve hitch is not included, but can be purchased through your tractor manufacturer.
Use with your UTV/ATV: Check out the Brinly One-Point Lift (Models: OPL-BH/OPL-BH-A) to easily attach your ground engaging equipment to your UTV/ATV.
Attach Units for Max Efficiency: Two disc harrows may be assembled together for form a tandem unit, allowing the front disc gang to throw dirt out while the rear disc gang throws in.
Easy Maintenance: Standard disc hanger zerk grease fittings to help protect discs for lasting durability

I bought this for small food plots ( 40 yards X 80 to 100 yards ) for deer hunting and small garden work. The ground where I live is hard clay but this little disc works really well for me. I pull it with a lawn mower with somewhere around 100 lbs or so added to it and it works well. I go slow and take my time making multiple passes but it is getting the job done. Very impressed. Just what I was looking for.

I turned the soil with my brinly single moldboard plow first then went a couple of passes with my disc harrow to break up the clumps. Now I'm ready for tilling. The disc was easy to assemble.
