the average recommended amount of time to allot in brushing is two minutes. This is as recommended by three dental school practitioners I spoke to. Online recommendations states that if brushing is well followed as per guidelines, mouthwash rinses are not necessary. In our case, I cannot afirm that we brush adequately, even if we abide by the 2 minute rule. So we use this product, with a cleaner,fresher sensation. This is in between a professional dental visit every six months for the children. We get a good report in the children's dental health, partly, I believe, is because of mouthrinses, in general. This particular item is less expensive compared to the others.
