The recommended age range is 36 months to 8 years, so it will not be too small.

probably if they are tall. they will be able to use it but probaby only for a year or so. my sons 38 inches and the table is still big for him. i wouldnt recommend it for that age though maybe just for toddlers. good luck!

I would think 7 would be about the cut-off and maybe pushing it.

Bought this table a month ago and my son loves it. The table is very sturdy, the top is easy to wipe off and the chairs are just the right size. Very happy with this purchase.

The table and chairs are sturdy enough for my 2 and 3 year old grandchildren.  They chairs are padded for extra comfort.  The table top is padded as well, which I did not realize when I made the purchase.  But, the children are able to color on it just fine.  It is a good set, worth the money.

great table for my 3 year old

I bought this about a month ago and I'm so happy that I did but more importantly how much my son loves it! It's a bit big for my 18 month son but I knew that when I bought it. There is little to no assembly required and is durable.

We gave this table to our grandson as his 3rd birthday present.
He loved it and started using it right away. It is of the right height for him. The table surface is attractive.

WELL MADE -RIGHT SIZE TO ENJOY HOMEWORK AND FUN

Its very cute. The top of the table is a soft cushion like vinal with an exceptional graphic image on it. Pretty sturdy for the price too. My daughter put it together in minutes and my 4 year old grand son loves it.
I'm not sure how long that table top will survive him though. He's a bit rough on his toys. But so far we all love it.

Better than I expected

I was very suprised when I pulled the table from the box. The table top is made from VERY THIN
vinyl. The table that I purchased many years ago, was better made with a thicker more durable vinyl.
Come on, this is made for kids. It needs to be able to take some abuse! The chairs and table frame are sturdy, but the chairs are small. You only get 2 chairs. The table and chair sets used to come with 4 chairs, so I had to buy another complete sets to get the 4 chairs that I needed. You should be able to buy extra chairs and not have to buy another table!

Just ok

This is suppose to be an activity table. However it is plastic and cushioned so if he were to try to write or draw with colored pencils I believe it would puncture the plastic. I thought I was ordering a hard top table. I would not have ordered this if I had known.
