HOW TO USE FOR EXHALATION: There are 2 exercises, 1 for the exhale (expiratory), and the other for the inhale (inspiratory). You always breathe through your mouth through the BreatheEasy, meaning through the restriction. Exhalation uses diaphragm & abs exertion to push air out. Find resistance level where exhale finishes at the same time as you get impulse to inhale. Repeat several times, rest, repeat again, rest, repeat again. Repeat 3-4 times/week. HOW TO USE FOR INHALATION: Inhalation uses diaphragm & rib cage muscles. With air full open, inhale deeply, more than you ever thought your could, then try to inhale even more. Do this again and again, with every breath, for as long as you want while watching TV, waiting in traffic or to pick someone up, or while walking, etc... Because you're deep breathing, you'll never feel short of oxygen. The result is not only natural deep breathing, but relief from stress and anxiety!
