One room. I don't see it working for anything more than that. I use it in my master bedroom and the humidifier steam only covers the headboard/top of bed. It does need to be filled with distilled water pretty much every night when I use it. It works very well.

This humidifier will only work in one room at a time. It can be a good sized room though.

I have a very large living room and I run it on high but is handling it very well. My rooms are pretty open the doorways are open so its doing great for me.

If its low enough to the carpet it will.  I placed mine 3ft above the carpet, and it was damp all around the area of the carpet that it was near by the next morning.

Yes but if you have hard water you might have to clean it more often.

I have seen many humidifiers but this one tops them all. Simple to use, just pour "distilled" water in the bottom, screw on the cap and place it on the base. Press the button and it is on low. Press it once for medium, again for max and again for off. It even has a light so it looks cooler than most aquariums that you can turn on or off. It has a rotating disc to simply direct the air flow on the top. I don't think you can ask for any more. The best part is it holds almost an exact gallon of water.

Functional and good looking

The PureGuardian 70-Hour Ultra Humidifier works wonderfully. It is compact enough that is does not require much space at all. Yet, it holds enough water that you do not have to constantly refill it. This is a huge benefit. Its appearance is aesthetically pleasing. There is an optional blue night light located in the front. The blue is soothing and it casts a soft glow. It is also pleasant to the eye. It is not too bright or dim. The green light is a clear indicator to determine if the unit is on. I also really like the humidifier is extremely quiet. It is no louder than a soft whisper. The mist itself is very fine and even. It disperses the perfect amount. You can even control the direction and amount of mist easily. This is not the humidifier from our childhood that had condensation everywhere. It is very neat and clean. The instructions were easy to read and has trouble shooting tips and cleaning instructions. The humidifier is user friendly. It will turn off if it runs out of water. This is a great safety precaution. This humidifier is excellent for sick kids or just to run in winter months to restore moisture to hair and skin when the air is most dry. It is a great product overall. You will certainly be happy with it.

Ultra Awesome Humidifier

Work great. Get about 3 days when on the lowest setting and 8 to 10 hours when on the highest setting. Easily get 24 hours on the middle setting. Has improved the humidity levels in the house. Sleeping better and feeling better with the increased humidity. Easy to refill. Able to leave them running when out of the house because you can regulate the amount of vapor being dipensed. Also can regulate the humidity level by chaning the settings from low to high as necessary. Very quiet with no impact on sleep from the slight hum which is heard when there is no other noise.

If you're looking for a reasonably priced humidifier that is simple to run and has lots of mist power, this is it. What I love about this unit is the amount of mist that it puts off when in high mode. It's perfect for putting lots of moisture into the air very quickly. I also like that it uses the silver clean technology to help stop mold and mildew from forming. Another plus is that it does not use a filter, so you won't have to keep replacing filters. This humidifier will do cool mist only. You can change the direction of the mist from the top. There are only 2 control buttons in the front, which makes it very simple to use. When you push the power button once, it turns the unit on and is automatically set on low mist flow. Push the power button a second time and it switches to medium flow. Push the power button a third time and it switches to high flow. Push the power button a forth time and it shuts the unit off. When the power is on the button will be green but when the water level is low the button turns red. To the right of the power button is the button to turn it's night light on or off. The night light is a soft blue glow. It is very quiet, so quiet I actually can't hear it at all. It is super light weight. It will hold 1 gallon of water. It also comes with it's own cleaning brush. It's cord is 5 ft long. It stands 13" tall. It will do a small to medium sized room. I highly recommend this humidifier. Out of 5 stars, I give this product 5 stars!

Awesome humidifier, simple with lots of mist.

I owned a humidifier before and one thing I hated the most about it was to constantly buy filters. This unit doesn't need a filter which is great. It has a little brush that you need to clean the ultrasonic disk inside the unit. The humidifier consists of a blue water tank and a white base. It has a power button, which also serves as a mist control and refill indicator. If you press it once, the unit turns on. The mist level is low. Press it once again after turning it on and the mist level is medium. Press it twice after turning it on and the more at level is high. Besides that, the power button serves as a refill indicator, which turned red in case the water level is low and you need to refill it. When the water is low the unit automatically shuts down. When water tank is refilled it automatically resumes running.
The humidifier also has a blue night light. The unit measures 6.30"L/6.30"W/13"H; weighs 2.3 pounds. The water tank is 1 gallon. It can run up to 70 hours between tank refills. I have been using it every day for a few days and I love it. Definitely recommend.

Love it

I have a 950 sq. ft. home heated with a heat pump. The humidity was down around 20% and very uncomfortable, purchased this humidifier and it has brought the house up to a proper level..... no more dried out sinuses. Mounted it under the wall wart which circulates the moisture to the rest of the house and makes it a lot more comfortable. Have it set on the lowest level and it goes a 4 litre bottle of distilled water in two days (97c) Very nice.

This humidifier is so quiet I can't believe it's running. The owners manual that's included says that it has ultrasonic technology and includes a cleaning brush for the ultrasonic disk. It's well made and I like the sturdy screw cap for the reservoir. The mist is adjustable from low, medium to high by repeatedly pressing the power button. This feature is not as nice as having a dial but it has a LED night light that's a soft blue and the power button illuminates a soft green. When I'm sleeping it's nice to be able to see the power button in the dark and press it to increase the mist or turn it off. If it runs out of water the power button turns red and it shuts off.
I live in a area that has hard water and the manufacturer says you have to descale every week or every other week depending on the water type and usage so I'm using distilled water. The manual also says that if minerals in your water produce white dust you can buy a Decalcification Cartridge which is nice.
I like the design and that the unit puts out a lot of humidity plus the fact that it can run up to 70 hours between tank refills. The humidifier also has something called silver clean that fights the growth of mold and mildew so that's a bonus.
That said I'm knocking off one star because the power button is awkward and aggravating if you miss your desired setting.
