Great cover. Retrax Pro MX

This is my second Retrax cover, the first was about 10 years ago in a Toyota Tundra, this one for. 2024 Tacoma. Neither cover has disappointed. They look great, they function well, and they offer security for your smaller cargo. Well worth the investment. I installed this cover myself, it's not that hard but it took a little longer than expected. The example video that Retrax has on their site if for a Ford, which is ok but the hardware for a Ford and a Toyota are completely different. This made it confusing at first, but luckily there were some actually useful videos posted on the university of YouTube's website (Not posted by RealTruck). RealTruck should probably post some installation videos of different model trucks, but then again if they did, their “Authorized” distributors would lose money on the installation. For $2500 Retrax should also have included the “Optional” tailgate seal, NOPE. Had to order that separately $40. It has only rained once since I installed the cover, it was a pretty hard rain and I found no water in the truck bed, which was a good sign. I'll wait for a few more rains before I decide if it's “Water tight”.

Awesome quality, easy to assemble, and looks fantastic! I was a little hesitant because it is expensive, but after the install and ease of use, worth every penny. I'm glad I chose this over the backflip. I did change my drain tubes. Picked up some 3/8 tubing at Lowe's, heated the end, pushed it on the drain nipple, and it fit in my stock drain holes in my 2025 GMC 2500 AT4X.
