Real Streaming

Heard so much about this camera so I decided to try one out. My first time gaming and streaming. Letting my grand kids show granpa how it's done. And it's definitely a better camera than most cameras in all aspects but one. For starters, unlike most cameras it's able to capture 720p footage at 60fps. While both cameras are happy to do 1080p at 30fps, Razer's Kiyo will also double the frames at half the resolution, matching the performance of the upgraded version camera. Given that for most streamers, it means a little picture-in-picture overlay, the resolution hardly matters, but having the 60fps output definitely makes for smoother imaging. And then of course, there's the ring light itself, which worked far better than I imagined it would. It's a manual dial, with each increment increasing the intensity of lighting until you have all 12 LED's illuminated. If you don't have a lighting solution, then it's a revelation. – able to adequately light up a room. While it's good for that, it's best for removing shadows from your face. It's the camera's killer feature, and one that makes it a worthy consideration. For these reasons I recommend buying this camera for serious streaming.

absolutely love this webcam for what i needed it for i think the sofrware could use some better video editing features but for the average user its got clear image and is plug and play ive already used for extened recordong sessions and was suprrsied the led ring never got hot for as bright as it was and its auto focus works pretty well. It's way better than my original webcam and helps with the low light in my room with perfect image for a great price compared to optimg for a real camera

The only two things I don't care for is that the light is super bright - but I guess it has to be - and the focus sometimes takes a minute or two to adjust. Other than that it works great. I got it because my old webcam made me look red all the time and this one doesn't do that.
