Needs stronger adhesive

This was easy to work with and nice thickness, It goes down great and easy to cut. I gave it low stars because it DOES NOT STAY in place. The adhesive is not good and I used the entire roll on many different surfaces (even new cabinet shelf free of everything) it still was loose and curling back up within 1 day and I hadn't even put anything on it yet.

Living in an older apartment definitely presents its challenges, especially when it comes to maintenance and aesthetics. When I moved in, I negotiated a better rent rate by choosing an unrenovated unit, which meant the only updates made were fresh paint and new carpet in one room. As a result, much of the property still reflects its 15-year history, and I was determined to find ways to enhance my space. One issue I encountered was the cheap, glued-on liner in the kitchen drawers, which was peeling and unsightly. Wanting a simple and affordable fix, I turned to taupe contact paper, and it turned out to be the perfect solution! Not only is it budget-friendly, but the neutral color also complements my kitchen beautifully. Applying the contact paper was a breeze. The grid lines on the backing made it easy to cut the pieces to size, and I cut them slightly larger to ensure full coverage. I used a dollar store cutter to trim off any excess and found that it was easy to reposition if I didn't apply it perfectly straight. The trickiest part for me was dealing with air bubbles. Despite cleaning the drawers thoroughly and taking my time during application, a few bubbles appeared. Fortunately, the contact paper allowed me to peel it off and reposition it without any hassle. I also used a small squeegee to press out the remaining bubbles for a smooth finish. In the end, the transformation is incredible! I've already relined all the bottoms and sides of my kitchen drawers, and I can't wait to tackle the cabinets next. This simple update has made a world of difference in my kitchen, and I highly recommend this contact paper for anyone looking to refresh their space on a budget!

I have a TV table and side table that I covered. I also used it to line draws and shelves in my new place. This contact paper is so easy to use and very forgiving. You can peel back numerous times to reposition and smooth out wrinkles. If one end gets laid and started right, it lays down great, following the paper backing as it is pulled off underneath, with no or minimal wrinkling. It even adheres to corners well when helped with a blow dryer or heat gun.
