The Wagner Paint Eater is a paint removing tool that’s aggressive on paint, but gentle on surfaces, making it easier to remove peeling paint without damaging the substrate. This innovative sander features a 3M spun fiber disk that rotates at 2,600 RPM to efficiently remove old or chipped paint and feather rough edges on a variety of surfaces including wood, Masonite, steel, concrete and more. This one-step paint remover makes quick work of a normally labor-intensive task and leaves you with an ideal surface for refinishing to ensure your new coat goes on smoother, lasts longer, and adheres better.

Painteater performance

The Painteater did what it was advertised to do. However on surfaces that are vertical and or above my head I was unable to control the paint eater because it is stronger than I am. I had to be able to stand above the surface and the Painteater and the surface needed to be horizontal for me to be able to use it. My sons were able to do the vertical surfaces. Still it did make a nice smooth surface when it was finished.
