SlimFast High Protein Smoothie Mix, Creamy Chocolate, 12 Serving Container

The SlimFast Advanced Nutrition Smoothie Creamy Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake Mix, makes a rich tasting smoothie or shake to satisfy my chocolate ice-cream craving. I have used SlimFast products before and found that this product is tastier than the one I used to use; it does not have a strong vitamin aftertaste. I use SlimFast to limit my intake of the higher fat and calorie content of ice-cream products. I love chocolate ice-cream but it does not like me (calorie wise). I find the best way for me to mix up a shake from the SlimFast Advanced Nutrition Smoothie Creamy Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake Mix, is to mix one scoop of mix, 8 oz. of Fat Free Skim milk, ½ cup of ice and a packet of artificial sweetener in a blender; the sweetener and ice make the shake more like ice-cream to me but it would all depend on what the individual likes. After having my smoothie I found that I was totally satisfied by the taste and did not feel any craving for “real” ice-cream or other sweets. Anything that helps me to limit my calorie intake is a good thing and I know that I will continue to purchase and use this product as well as other alternatives in the SlimFast family.

I am a bariatric patient so protein drinks are a part of my every day life. Right after my surgury I used the doctor recommend powders from my post surgery kit. Than I found Isopure at the recommendations of others patient who have been thru the surgury. They were ok powders, did what they were so post to but flavor were not as appealing. I recently had the opportunity to try this slimfast and I will say it is delicious and I will be switching my powders. It has all the dietary componets I need with the 20 grams of protein and low in calories. I find this powder to be the least gritty and better tasting than the other powder I have tried. is there really such a thing as a non gritty protein shake? I have a Vitamix so the blender I use is high quality. I have tried this a few different ways. 1as directed on the lable, 1 scoop of powder to a cup of milk I only had whole milk so I used that, 2, 1 scoop of powder to a cup of almond milk, 3,1 scoop of powder to a cup of water with ice and half a frozen banana, and the last was the same as befor but this time I added PB2. I have to say all of the different combinations were pretty tasty. I like the one with whole milk as a "dessert" after I blend it I pop it in the freezer for at least an hour until it becomes more solid and ice cream like. Super yummy and im not blowing all my hard work.I have only positive things to say. Im also gonna try out the vanilla next.
