Olive Oil

This is olive oil. Olive oil is made by harvesting ripe olives, typically by hand or with mechanical shakers, and then washing them to remove dirt and debris. The olives are crushed into a paste using traditional stone mills or modern steel crushers. This paste is then slowly mixed in a process called malaxation, which helps release the oil. After that, the mixture is either pressed or centrifuged to separate the oil from the water and solids.

Extra light tasting olive oil is great for dry skin. Another bottle is good for a little drizzle into my coffee. It is silky smooth and doesn't have a taste that changes the coffee. The benefits from the coffee are easily meant each morning for a healthy life.

I use this olive oil to make homemade mayonnaise. The light flavor of this oil doesn't overpower the mayo. We consider it very good for that purpose. It would probably be ok for cooking, but I wouldn't recommend it for any purpose like dipping or drizzling where you want an olive forward flavor.
