This is my first smoker and so far I am very pleased with the ease of use and the results! I have friends with the larger 22" and they also say the WSM is one of the best smokers of its kind. I got an 18" WSM for Fathers Day in 2010 and honed my bbq skills for more than ten years. Then, I thought I wanted a pellet grill so the WSM and Spirit E-210 went away. Big mistake! So, now the pellet grill is gone and this purchase replaces my original WSM. The WSM is the perfect backyard smoker! Yeah, I replaced the E-210 also.

Finally the Perfect Smoker

Over the past 30 years I've had numerous smokers. Finally switched to the WSM 18 and could not be happier. This is the perfect size for about anyone. Using both racks for when friends visit, or just the top for normal weekends. The heat is very consistent. Takes about 30 minutes to get it all dialed in and adjusted, but that is the funnest part and very satisfying. After you have the heat where you want it, the WSM will pretty much keep it there with almost zero effort. With charcoal and your favorite wood, this is what smoked food is supposed to taste like. Excellent product.
