It's a great set that you can free style build or follow along with the included instructions, you can even go online for more build ideas. My grandson is 3 1/2 and it's great to see him build with his daddy. They have a great time building and creating new items together. I think it's a great developmental gift as well-great for fine developing fine motor and engineering skills.
