Microwave: in a round 2-quart microwaveable glass casserole dish,combine rice-vermicelli mix And 2 tablespoons Of margarine, butter orspread with no trans fat. Microwave uncovered at high for 1 minute.Stir. Microwave at high 1 To 2 more minute(s) or until vermicelli isgolden brown. Remove dish From microwave And allow To cool for 1 minute.Caution; dish will be hot. Slowly stir in 2 2/3 cups water And specialseasonings. Cover And microwave, at high 17 t0 20 minutes or until riceis tender. Let stand 3 To 5 minutes before serving. Range top: in alarge skillet, combine rice-vermicelli mix And 2 tablespoons ofmargarine, butter or spread with no trans fat. Saute over medium heatuntil vermicelli is golden brown, stirring frequently. Slowly stir in 21/2 cups water And special seasonings; bring To a boil. Cover And reduceheat To low. Simmer 15 To 20 minutes or until rice is tender. Let stand3 To 5 minutes before serving.

This is my new favorite Ric-A-Roni Flavor!! Forget what you think of the Rice-A-Roni of the past this is way beyond it!! It doesn't taste fake to me like the stuff my mom made when I was a kid. I'm so glad I tried this when growing up. I love garlic so I thought I'd give this a try again now that I'm 50 and I absolutely love it and have had it several times now it's definitely a go to in my house now!!
