This dual-speed Mark 2 sharpener came loaded with coarse-gritted belt threaded and ready for use. It sharpens bladed and other sharp-edged tools. The belt bends and twists to ensure continued contact with contoured surfaces. A half-dozen belts are included, with varying coarseness and finer grit patterns. I particularly appreciate the ability to toggle back and forth between 20° and 25° angles using a single button behind the 'guides'. A single slide switch also allows the user to toggle between the two speed settings for maximum control. The 'head' rotates and clicks into position for stationary or free-handed utilization. I am definitely recommending this Mark 2 sharpener to family and friends.

This is an amazing device I wish I had known about it years ago. I collect knives of all sorts. I like to keep them sharp and ready to use. I have used the ceramic sharpeners as well as the various stones. I have never been able to put an edge on my knives that I was satisfied with until now. I sharpened all the knives in the picture in less than 5 minutes, that includes the time it took to set the sharpener up. I have a 30 inch machete made from a commercial lawn mower blade. I have never been able to sharpen it to my satisfaction. I was able to put an edge on it that slices thru paper with ease. This is not a five star product it is more like a perfect 10. I had to quit bragging about it because everyone wants me to sharpen their blades. It is small enough to store easily and even to carry along on camping, hunting and fishing trips. And as you can see is big enough to do the job. The belt on the one I use shows no wear after multiple uses, I expect it will last a long time. even if it doesn't there five more with the sharpener. It even does serrated edges.
