Cuisinart Cast Iron Casserole, Dutch Oven, 7-Quart, Cool Grey

I picked up the 5-qt red Cuisinart Dutch oven from Walmart—even though most recipes call for a 5.5-qt, this one works beautifully. I've wanted a high-quality Dutch oven for years and had looked at this particular pot before, even though it's usually priced well over my budget, almost as expensive as the more famous brand. When I saw it on special for 80% off, I was honestly stunned and couldn't resist. I assumed the slightly smaller size explained the deal. I made a simple chicken-and-rice dish and followed the recipe exactly. The results were outstanding—much better than I expected.
