It seems pretty sturdy and it was easy to attach to the wall . This black board is the perfect size for writing the months and days of the year on it . I bought the vintage chalk water based markers to use with it, and I bought a water based chalkboard cleaner spray set to erase the water based chalk markers. or use regular chalk , or the pencils that came with this set . I choose to hang my chalkboard near my bed so i can see the days of the month more clearly than a regular calendar.
