There is so much to love about this cookware. First, it is quality made. Stainless steel feels durable. The lid has a vent hole to let off steam when cooking rice or other dish. Handles are solid, but do not have silicone on them. Be careful and use hot pads as the handles do get warm/hot. It is easy to clean. This 12 quart cookware can be placed in the oven up to 500 degrees and 350 degrees with the lid. Whether you are a professional cook or not, I’d highly recommend.

I am so thrilled with the Babish Tri-Ply Steel Professional Grade Stock Pot. This stock pot is a cooks dream. You don't have to be a professional to use it and appreciate all the great qualities of this stock pot. First the appearance is extremely beautiful. The weight of the pot is on the heavy side, but that is a good thing as it is made of Tri-ply stainless steel. Anyone who has ever cooked with Stainless steel pots knows they are heavy. The handles are designed very nice so that when you lift the pot it feels good and secure in your hands. The handles come out a bit further so you have enough room to have oven mitts on when lifting the pot and make sure you use them because I promise you the handles will be hot. The pot has a glass tempered lid that has a vent hole to help prevent boiling over. I am not sure if it was designed this way or not but the lid is not a tight fit. It has a small amount of wiggle room. I personally prefer a tight fit, but maybe it was meant to be this way. You can put this pot in the oven if needed and it is oven safe up to 500 degrees F and the lid is good up to 350 degrees F. I will be using my pot regularly for making jam since this 12 quart stainless steel pot is non reactive. The size of the pot is awesome for this particular job. I make jam for a charity and go through about 1000 lbs of fruit every summer so this Babish Stainless steel pot will get a thorough workout. This is a big stainless steel pot and can hold a lot of food. You can make a huge amount of soup or chili, or even fit a big bird in it lol. The possibilities are endless. A quick suggestion for you, even though it may say dishwasher safe please take care of your pot and it will stay beautiful for as long as you own it. Wash it by hand. If you put it in the dishwasher it will become discolored and no longer smooth and shiny looking and you don't want that. I would recommend this cookware to everyone. It is beautiful, durable, functional and just a great piece of cookware. Don't be afraid to buy the Babish Stainless steel. Once you learn how to cook in stainless steel you will never want to go back to the other stuff.
