It says that the smell lasts 8 hours but I found it to last a few days. I'm not sure if it helped my breathing but it gave the room a lavender scent. I used it in my Vicks humidifier.

Works really well with my toddlers. we popped these in to prevent colds and of course it's amazing. We have a stuffy nose. Read on the box though that the pads only lasts 6 to 8 hours so they do go by pretty fast.
