This pea protein powder is a great bang for your buck. A lot of other pea proteins I've seen cost the same amount for half as much, and they don't always have as much protein per gram as this product does. So it's a great value and contains a good amount of protein per gram, but how does it taste? Personally, I think it tastes fine. I've read a lot of other reviewers say it tastes terrible, and I guess it really all comes down to your personal taste. Sure, some people aren't going to like the flavor, the same as some people aren't going to like peanut butter or greek yogurt. But I don't believe the flavor is bad at all. I almost always use this in fruit smoothies, but I sometimes blend it with almond/soy milk and ice for a fairly low-calorie, high-protein boost in the afternoons and the flavor is fine. I've tasted a very small amount by itself and it has a sort of nutty flavor. Don't be afraid to try it. If you don't like the flavor, blending it into a fruit smoothie will completely erase all of its taste and you'll still get a good helping of protein.
