How to remove a dye "bleed"

I use Synthrapol to remove fabric dye: when I wash a newly completed quilt, some colors often run, especially red. If you see that the dye has run, you immediately re-wash using Synthrapol in HOT water...yes, HOT water and with dye catchers. Don't dry the quilt until you have successfully removed the "bleed". It may take 3 or 4 washes (using Synthrapol %26 new dye catchers each time.
