I bought this to replace my non-functional norcold in my rv. This operates on 12 volt or 120. Very little work was needed to get it installed. Very pleased with than. It cooled down fast and has remained cooled on 12 volt. What I don't like is the door shelves. The top 2 are only 2 1/4 deep and only 3 inches apart then not adjustable. What are you supposed to put in them? In the old norcold the shelves were 3 1/4 inches deep and adjustable. We kept our bottled water and can drinks in it. No way with the dometic. Another thing is the freezer door. It flips up where as the norclold pulls down. If I had know this before I would have bought a different brand.
