I have purchased Lavazza Espresso Italiano whole beans for 2 years, since I started grinding my own coffee. Espresso is a style that suits my taste. It has more intensity than indicated (5/10); the aroma is strong, a subtle sense of chocolate and walnut. I use half-and-half, to enhance the richness. Sometimes, this particular Lavazza variety is hard to find, so I try to reorder well before I am on my last grind, or find it at a retailer.
