NOT a plastic piece of tech. A bit heavy, this wood enclosed speaker has good sound aided by tone adjustment and ample volume. Battery is long lasting and charged with included 110 volt cord. Topping things is the AM/FM Radio . A good buy for the money.

Great value speaker

Hard to find a good %26 larger portable airplay speaker for less than $200. This large Onn speaker sounds really good and battery life is excellent. I experimented with it by synchronizing this speaker with my other airplay2 patio ceiling speakers and the sound in the backyard was incredible. Together they produced a strong and depth of music over a 1500 sq ft back yard with little distortion. Bass is strong. I've had no issues with airplay connection but have not connected it via bluetooth. Great speaker for the price.

It is so much better than a Bluetooth-connected speaker. This one connects directly to the Internet. . . so the signal seems stronger and more dependable. This speaker comes in 2 other larger sizes. This is plenty big for her individual usage. The larger would be good for parties, etc. . .
