Good deep blue color. Does show some lint and dog hair *lol* Some mats can be very scratchy until washed and some never soften or absorb well even after a few washes. This has a nice lushness under foot Non-skid backing is great. It is crucial for rugs not to move around near porcelain! I do wish the longer one was 4 inches longer. I'd get one for my sink area and toss the short one near a door as a mat.
