I unfortunately ended up with what I assume was Covid recently and had one of those annoying headaches that just lingers. I just wanted a bit of relief without taking any sort of medications. I've used epsom salt before and assumed this would look identical. But instead, this looks almost like little glass shards. I was kind of nervous about putting it in my water because some of them could literally poke you quite well. However, I was pleasantly surprised when they dissolved near instantly! When relaxing in the bath, I didn't notice much scent. Nor did the water have any sort of 'feel' to it if that makes sense. However, my lingering headache disipated. Maybe it was just coincidentally from the warm water, I'm not sure. However...when I got out and dressed, my skin was sooo soft and smooth. I have some eczema that I get on my chin as well and that seems to have subsided a lot. For those purposes alone, this is totally worth it. I'm not one to bath often as I prefer the speediness of a shower but this is changing my mind! :D

It helps relieve aches, pains, stress & discomfort of existing in this world. The bag says the organic cedarwood “stimulates the release of melatonin, the sleep hormone” and the organic lavender “promotes peaceful, deeper sleep.” I am glad I read the bag because it says that the bath water should not be too hot or it won’t soak into the skin! Be sure to keep your water around 101-103 degrees. I’ve tried taking capsulated melatonin and other sleep aides but these salts work more effectively. I definitely feel more relaxed and have noticed getting better sleep after a nice soak in the tub with the salts. Even if I just soak my feet it’s enough to help me fall asleep faster. The scents are pleasant and calming as well. It is subtle and not overwhelming like other brands. I have aches and generally average stress levels throughout the week. It’s nice to unwind with a little me time. The flakes are also great for dissolving faster in the water! My husband occasionally uses the salts as well when he’s had a tough day at work or has been doing a lot of heavy lifting to soothe his sore, tense muscles.
