Very sturdy shelves with high degree of confidence they will support a large volume and weight. They have really helped me organize my garage. Not only are the shelves supportive with plenty of room to store boxes and tools, but I also use "S-hooks" on the lips of the shelf to hang small cases of parts, small hand tools, scissors, etc. Assembly does take a nice piece of floor space as the rods are 6 feet long. However, I did them myself and it takes about 15 minutes for each full assembly. I found it easier to assemble the bottom horizontally and then stand it vertically to install the remaining shelves. My wife uses it to store large non-perishable items like gallon bottles of water, 12 packs of soda, boxes of Christmas items, large pots used only on holidays, etc. Has really freed up space in our home.

You better watch out!!! Units at my Sam's Club had casters and liners the last time I bought several. This unit as well as most of the shelving units do not come with casters or liners any longer. The picture is not clear enough to reveal the lack of casters and only liners are mentioned in print. I had to pay an extra $324.40 for casters for my five units. That's too much. I didn't expect this from Sam's! Put the changes in print.
