First time trying this variety.  My cat likes it so I will be ordering again!

Tasty new food choice

Picky (17 year-old ) kitty, Alice likes it! For now, anyway. She changes what she wants to eat often. So far, so good!

I bought this product after reading about it online in an article about older cats' health problems and weight loss. CORE 95 cat food was highly recommended for its appeal to cats, its nutritional value, and its aid in helping cats gain weight. I have a 16-year-old cat who suffers from hyperthyroidism which causes weight loss. My kitty needs to eat more, but she is very picky about her food.  I decided to give CORE 95 a try. It is a smooth paté that is easy to eat, and it has no strong odor. It is 95% chicken meat with no byproducts, grain, or fillers. My kitty loves it! She eats it very well without being "on again, off again" about this food. I get consistent results with it. CORE 95 is rather expensive, so I really appreciate the more reasonable price for it at Walmart compared to some othet vendors. I wish it was available at an even lower cost-per-can in a 24-can package compared to the 12-can pack currently available. Highly recommend!

My cat is 15, hyperthyroid, and unbelievably picky. One week she will like a food, the next week I'll have to discard it down the sink because she'll refuse to eat it. She basically only eats wet food. I've tried many different brands and flavors, and she'll eat a meal once or twice, then stop eating all together and I'll have to find something new. This month's "something new" was Wellness Core 95% Chicken. It's the only food she will eat and devour. This is important because her hyperthyroid disease causes her to be underweight, and thanks to this food, she is finally gaining weight again. She also does NOT throw up after eating it (like she has with other food) which is awesome!!! I mentioned she was hyperthyroid because it's important in relation to this food. That's because Wellness no longer adds "carageenan" to their food, and because "carageenan" is derived from seaweed it can worsen and aggravate hyperthyroid symptoms. It also does not contain any "kelp", which for some reason is a common ingredient in many cat foods. Kelp of course is seaweed, which can also worsen and aggravate hyperthyroid symptoms. The soft texture is fantastic; I always add a bit of water to her wet food (for a moisture boost), and it mixes easily and smoothly with a dash of water. I will continue to buy this food for Kitty, it is truly a Godsend for me, my cat, and my wallet (no more washing food down the drain!). Thanks Wellness for creating such a superb and quality product.
