The New Metro Design Pouring Chute effortlessly directs ingredients into the stand mixer and not on the counter. Our patented design aims dry or wet ingredients to the center of your stand mixer bowl for more efficient and thorough mixing. Unlike plastic versions, our replacement pouring shield is stainless steel and polished to ensure baking ingredients don’t stick and do slide easily into the stand mixer. Using our pouring chute adds an extra layer of protection, keeping fingers away from the spinning blade. The Pouring Chute fits most KitchenAid stainless steel stand mixer bowls. This pouring chute WILL NOT work with stand mixers with glass mixer bowls (we have a different pouring shield for these!!) and WILL NOT work with stand mixers with a fluted, tulip or flared edge. The Pouring Chute is made from high grade surgical stainless steel, it will not bend during the most rigorous use. Dishwasher safe, for quick and easy clean up. Adding ingredients is a dream now, not a mess
Before ordering, do what I did. Check your mixing bowl. I have a machine from about mid 2000s and it has the distinctive lip on the top. Newer machines have the more rounded, gradual lips. This unit will not work on those tops. Mines a very rolled steel lip and it fits like a glove and works beautifully.

Love this Handy Stand Mixer Attachment!
Oh my, what a super item. I saw a video of this pouring shield chute thing and thought it would be nice for my stand mixer. It's AMAZING! I made a fruit buckle the weekend I got it and the flour slid down strait into my bowl. I usually use a spoon to put the flour in and this was easy and the flour didn't get on the side of my machine like it usually does. For folks with stand mixers, this is a great addition.
