Cute, but the pants are way too big

I ordered this cozy hello Kitty outfit for my seven year-old daughter in a size medium. She is average size for her age, and typically wears a medium or size seven. The outfit is cute and soft, but it's too big. The top fits fine, but the bottoms are too big to stay on. The waistband is not adjustable, though we did try rolling the waistband to give a better fit. I don't think the size down would work either because it would be too small in the top.

Super soft Jammie's for a little girl

My daughter is currently between a XS and a small. I went ahead and bought a size 6 pajamas, hoping they would last her a little bit longer. The length of the pants definitely fit like a size 6 because they're longer on her which I expected. I would say that the top fits like a size 6, however it is on the shorter side, which I think might be intentional. The material is very soft, almost like a velvet on the outside, and there are no weird seams on the inside to irritate my kid.

Cute and Cozy Hello Kitty Pajamas

This is a really lovely two piece pajama set. It would make an excellent gift. The fabric is cozy and soft to wear. My almost 4ft tall daughter is wearing the size 6 to 6X and it fits her really well in the body and the length. We are big fans of Hello Kitty and this design and print is super cute. There is an elastic band waist which helps fit and there are no buttons or fasteners so it's easy to pull on.
