Lightweight Soft Material

the material is light weight but soft and comfortable. I ordered in black and it is a true black - very pretty. The top fits snug so I would suggest getting two sizes larger unless you like a snug fit. I purchased for sleeping mostly because the turtleneck will keep neck and shoulders warm. But it is lightweight enough to wear under a long sleeve top.

Make Better Judgement

The material is very thin, and it's short in length. Based on the image I was expecting it to be more thicker like a regular turtle neck for winter but that's not the case. It's more for spring/summer weather rather than warm for winter. I still gave it 5-star because it was my bad judgement. It's just wasn't what I was looking for. Not for the occasion I needed it for.
