True to size, I got these basic athletic shorts for my kid to run around. Simple elastic band, they go down past his knee. He's about 4'5” and 80lbs (size 14/16). The material is a bit thin, you can see through them at some angles but not so much you'll see their under pants or anything.

Out of 6 - 4 we're okay quality to last one season but TWO were literally see through and that too the ones which were the darkest color like the BLACK ONE MY SON CANT WVEN WEAR IT AS IT SHOWS HIS UNDERWEAR SO CLEARLY - and no it's not about lighting- I received the package in the evening and when I told him to check it was night time so only artificial lights - so you can imaging if something is so see through in artificial lights- how much see through it will be in sunlight ?
