My daughter is almost 10 but small for her age. She typically still fits M 7/8 best, so that's what I ordered for her. What I love most is the fabric—it hits that "just right" spot where it isn't so thin that it's see-through, but it's also not heavy or "weirdly thick" like some of the other crop tops I've tried from this brand.
