The material is soft and gentle and enough to be over a shingles rash so that tells you how comfortable the material is. I'm not too sure about the breathability, especially in the sensitive area of a woman. The material does not bind. It is very smooth fitting. If you are looking for something that covers your whole belly, this is the best choice you could make.
