This is not a heavy dress. It will be perfect for the spring or summer. It can be worn during the winter with a blazer as well. The color appears to be a bright red as pictured. I usually wear between a size 12 and 14. I wear a 36 at the top. I ordered the size medium. I like the fit. I would order other colors.
