Mainstays Alessandra Brown Stoneware Dinner Plate

For our anniversary I decided we needed some new dinnerware. What I had was still in great condition, but sometimes you just feel the need for new dinnerware. I found the the Mainstays dark beige rimmed Stoneware dinner plates and knew the moment I saw them that they are the perfect plates for my little family. They are large enough for hearty portions at breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They are also great to use as serving dishes because they are stoneware they hold the heat and food stays warmer longer. They are dishwasher safe and microwave safe. The plates are heavy and give you feeling that they cost a lot more than they do. They absolutely look like expensive dinnerware. My husband loved that they are rimmed. He hates when his food goes sliding. We eat a lot in the living room, instead of at the dining table and sometimes food slides off. Not anymore with these new plates. . They measure 10 inches in diameter. They are just the perfect size. They are also stackable so they take up less room. I gifted my other set of dinnerware to my son and he asked for the new set instead because he loved those plates. I guess I am off to the store again to get him a set.

This is a solid dinner plate. The mint color is wonderful and bright. The plate is not too heavy but also does not feel like it will break easily like others. I love how the full area of the plate holds food rather than having an edge that is unusable and just takes up space.
