Incredibly soft to the touch, very, very warm for it's weight. The different colors had different prices, and I only wanted an additional soft, warm blanket, I can't see the blankets when I'm sleeping and they don't show with a bedspread anyway----but this emerald (very dark) green is beautiful---it really is.
