Do I Really Want to Buy This?
I was skeptical of this rug when I ordered it. Would it be too... whimsical with the "gold spots." I bought the rug for our master bedroom, which has hardwood floors. I have a rectangular, subtle striped cowhide rug in an alcove on the opposite side of the room. I needed a rug to coordinate, but didn't want to pay for the real thing--also didn't care for the idea of the real thing. (The other cowhide rug is a designer consignment shop find) Anyway, this rug is perfect! It adds a pop of interest and is soft under your feet. It fits the spot perfectly and I don't even think about the "gold spots!" I might not put it in my foyer, but it works here!
