Wright Products standard-duty pneumatic (air pressure) door closer is designed for out-swinging light-to-medium weight storm, home, or security doors. Use a single closer for light to medium weighted doors or paired (one on top and one at the bottom) for heavier storm and screen doors. This standard-duty-use door closer has a high level of durability that can withstand repeated opening and closing throughout the day. Specs: .89 pounds and 15.75 inches long. Made for outdoor use and all installation hardware is included.

Wright Products standard-duty pneumatic (air pressure) door closer is designed for out-swinging light-to-medium weight storm, home, or security doors. Each door closer measures 12-5/8 long (not extended) and 1-1/2 in diameter. Use a single closer for light to medium weighted doors or paired (one on top and one at the bottom) for heavier storm and screen doors
This standard-duty-use door closer has a high level of durability that can withstand repeated opening and closing throughout the day
You can easily increase or decrease the closing speed and force with a screw at the end of the pneumatic tube. The fully lubricated spring stretches to allow the door to open a full 90 degrees before it pulls the door closed at a controlled pace. By using air within the pneumatic tube to cushion the force of the door, it prevents it from slamming and preserves the life of the closer, the door, and the door frame
All installation hardware is included; no additional parts need to be ordered or added. Comes with a seasonal latching adjustment option to switch between a glass or screen insert.
Pneumatic tube and attachments come in a high-quality finish to blend in perfectly with the door and frame

I've gotten a few of these over the years,they last for about 3-5 years depending on how hard they're used. I've had one break while trying to move in a refrigerator so don't be lazy and unhook it first! Mine get a heavy workout opening and closing multiple times for pets in and out and propped open alot, etc, lots of abuse so lasting a few years seems good to me. Easy to install too. Great price, and I use it on a medium heavy insulated storm door.

I am sad. I finally bought one of these and my boyfriend said it won't fit. We have one of those security screen doors with bars on it and cat proof grates instead of wire mesh. I thought for sure it would work, but boyfriend says no. It's still a good, sturdy product and I'm not going to return it if it's not broken, so I will ask around and see if anyone needs it. I am at a loss for what kind of door closer I can use, now. Bummer.
