Fabric is too thin to be called thermal

Defintion: "Thermal underwear, also known as long underwear, is a type of close-fitting clothing designed to retain body heat in cold conditions. It is typically worn as a base layer to keep the wearer warm and dry during outdoor activities in winter." There's nothing "thermal" about this. I was expecting old-fashioned "long john" type fabric, but this is so very thin! It's comfortable and fits fine, but it doesn't add much if any warmth as a base layer which is why I bought it in the first place. Will keep looking for the real thing.

Compared to another one piece thermal suit I have from Target this runs small, unless you want a very snug fit. Glad I sized up. Shoulder to crotch also not as roomy. I'm usually a petite 2x with evenly distributed weight. 5"2' 225lb. The leopard print is sort of faded. I purchased for pajamas so not concerned with that.
